Small bowel perforation with iliac artery prosthesis stump

Aim: In this case we report an unusual complication after retroperitoneal formation of iliac artery prosthesis-stump – a bowel perforation and sepsis. Case report: During the open urology surgery right external was iatrogenic injured iliofemoral bypass grafting performed. Eight months thereafter, due to inguinal site graft infection occlusion, distal part prosthesis transacted removed, proximal, part, closed over sewn in zone without any sign present. This caused very small three thereafter. Conclusion: The whole should always be removed with no stump avoid complication.
